Napaland poll: What should we name our ship?

Our ship used to be called Bør when she was first built in Holland in 1993, Bør is Norwegian for “Good sailing wind”. Since 2015 she has been called Arktika, while sailing in Iceland and Greenland for our previous project Aurora Arktika. To celebrate Napaland and this new beginning, we think our ship should have a brand new name, that would capture the essence of Napaland - the land of adventure. We came up with a few ideas of our own, but we would love to hear your opinion and your own suggestions for a new name!

To tell you a bit more about the few name options we thought about this far: Arktis is the Finnish word for the Arctic region. Pallas is a name appearing in Greek mythology, for example as the daughter of Triton, the sea-god. Pallas is also a name of a beautiful fjeld area in Northern Finland, famous among telemark ski touring crowds. Napa is a word in Finnish describing the “pole” or the “center”, so For example the polar region is called the “Napa” region and the arctic circle is “Napa” circle in Finnish. Even the human bellybutton is called “Napa”, as the “centre pole” of a person!
