Booking conditions

Participants are required to sign this booking form upon booking, to confirm that they understand and have accepted Napaland booking conditions.

The Napaland trips/voyages are of an adventurous nature and to relatively remote places in Iceland, Greenland and other places. Napaland and it’s carefully selected subcontractors, mainly chartered vessels and their crews, or specialised guides, make best effort to stick to the planned itinerary but participants must appreciate and acknowledge that the trip/voyage requires considerable flexibility. During the voyages Napaland and it’s customers are under command of the captain of the vessel, who has the right to adjust the itinerary without notice for reasons beyond their control such as weather, ice-conditions or other unpredictable or unforeseeable circumstances. Once departed on the voyage the captain will have final say on all decisions affecting safety etc and this must be accepted by all participants. Nonetheless the captain or Napaland can not be held responsible for incidents, accidents or physical injuries.

Skiing and kayaking activities

Some of the voyages include skiing or kayaking activities provided by a third party contractor, who is a licensed and experiences guide in the respective activity. The guide has the right to adjust the itinerary of activities without notice, for reasons beyond their control such as weather, ice-conditions or other unpredictable or unforeseeable circumstances. The guide will have final say on all decisions affecting safety etc regarding the on land, mountain or on-the-water-activities and this must be accepted by all participants. The guides operate under their own liability insurance and Napaland declines responsibility regarding these activities.

Sailing in remote locations and other outdoor activities in the trips can be dangerous and require an average level of fitness and good health. It is the participants

responsibility to ensure that they obtain proper and detailed medical advice.

In case of a medical problem arising during the voyage, either onboard or on shore, which results in medical expense including but not limited to

costs for evacuation with use of aircraft and repatriation, the responsibility for payment of these costs belongs solely to the respective participant.

We require that participants ensure that such eventualities are covered by their own personal travel insurance. If for any reason an incident is not covered by travel

insurance, the responsibility still remains with the participant and Napaland specifically declines any responsibility whatsoever. Be aware

that a normal travel policy may not cover you for some geographical areas and there may be exclusions for what they describe as "hazardous

sports," which may include sailing, climbing, skiing and diving, especially in remote areas.

Any personal belongings taken onboard the yacht by participants are so taken entirely at the participants risk and Napaland shall have no

liability for any loss or damage occurring to them.

any reason whatsoever. We STRONGLY recommend you obtain cancellation insurance if you don't have travel cancellation, delay, and baggage

loss/damage coverage already (such as through premium credit cards or other insurance providers).
